Recently, COUDUS successfully completed the conference system upgrade project for a major international conference center. The project aimed to resolve issues such as insufficient audio stability and low management efficiency faced by the original system during complex multilingual international meetings. After rigorous comparison and technical evaluation, the conference center ultimately selected COUDUS’s Wired Dual-Backup Conference System Main Unit (KT-9000A/S Series) and the supporting KT Series Conference Units as the core solution. Technical Highlights and Implementation This project’s solution offered several core advantages to ensure efficient and smooth meetings: One Unit, Dual System with Redundant Backup: The main unit features a two-in-one design, configurable as the primary or backup host. Its digital dual-channel design provides independent power, display, and control for each channel, achieving redundant backup. In the event of an anomaly with the main system, the backup system can seamlessly take over, fundamentally ensuring that important national or international conferences are not interrupted by equipment failure. High-Definition Pickup and Superior Anti-Interference: The project extensively utilized Dual-Array and Array Conference Microphone Units. Featuring a built-in 14MM pure gold diaphragm capsule and super-directional pickup technology, the effective pickup range reaches up to 60cm. Furthermore, the microphones use 5-pin audio processing with dual shielding, providing stronger anti-electromagnetic interference capability than traditional 3-pin or 4-pin connections, ensuring pure audio transmission in complex RF environments. Integrated Functionality and Smart Management: The system integrates video tracking functionality, supporting mainstream protocols like PELCO-D and SONY, and can link up to 8 PTZ cameras for automatic speaker tracking and video switching. This significantly enhances the experience for remote participants. Additionally, through RS-232 and RS-485 control interfaces, the system seamlessly integrates with the center’s central control platform for one-touch device management and scene presets. Flexible Speech Modes and Human-Centric Design: Catering to various meeting scenarios, the system offers 8 speech modes, including FIFO, Chairman Priority, and Timed Speech. The chairman unit features priority and can be freely switched between chairman and delegate roles, offering exceptional flexibility. The units’ 2.0-inch HD IPS color displays and touch buttons allow participants to intuitively check unit status and operate easily. Client Feedback The technical director of the conference center commented: “After adopting the COUDUS system, the audio quality at our meetings has seen a qualitative leap.
